Woombye Heritage Trail book launch

We are proud to release our first publication, the Woombye Heritage Trail.

From 11am several of the ‘Our Place Our Story’ heritage group will meet at St Margaret’s church. They will  accompany Cr Winston Johnston and take in some sites from the trail, including a stop at the Woombye Community Library to give a copy of the booklet before continuing on to the Woombye Pub.Meanwhile members of the 2nd Light Horse Regiment Woombye Troop will also be riding through town.

The launch will take place in the Woombye Pub from 11.30am with formalities at midday.

The trail booklet will be available for purchase for $8. Visitors to the pub are welcome, the pub has an approved Covid safe plan and will monitor numbers.
