LIVE MUSIC ALL DAY!
Swing into a Rockabilly Roll with live bands all day (and night!). Enjoy the cool 50’s tunes on the main stage in Hill Street with the Bowery Boys from 10 am, kick your heels up with the Rhythm Rats from 2 pm and then party the night away with the Rocknrollabillies at the dance from 6 pm. So Far Out!
DANCE WORKSHOPS
Free Dance Workshops all afternoon! Learn Swing, Rock & Roll or Rockabilly. Spend time with the kids and be the hip Daddy-O at the family class or just enjoy watching all the cats twisting away.
PIN UP HAIR WORKSHOPS AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Always wanted to learn how to create those amazing vintage hairstyles? Come along to a two hour workshop with Sunshine Coast Pin Up School. Really capture the heyday by having a professional photoshoot with the classic cars while you are vibing Beatnik or Mod and the most retro styles.
And if you don’t feel like creating a style yourself, the solid chicks from Sunshine Coast Pin Up School will be there all afternoon offering to style your hair for you;)
PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES!
Hang loose in one of the Happy Days competitions happening throughout the day.
Pinball machine comp: Try your hand on an old school pinball machine. Don’t blow your top and you might be the best in show!
Fairy Floss Eating Competition: Open to all ages! How fast can you eat the fairy floss on the plate in front of you… with your hands tied behind your back. Can you dig it?!
Whisker Wars Classic: Who has the best moustache, chops or beard in the biz?
Professional Rock & Roll Competition: Be blown away by the pros when they compete in competition in the Woombye School of Arts. Heats are open to the public from 4pm or go all out and buy tickets to the dance that night to check out the finalists and see who is named Rock & Roll Royalty.
Kids Klassic Kardboard Kar Klub: Make your best cardboard car to wear and showcase it on the big stage. Every kid gets a prize!
Best Dressed: Are you a Fifties Fashionista Supreme? Or perhaps the Retro Couture King? Maybe you are the hippest couple at the dance. Dress up and join in the fun at the dance which starts at 6 pm.
Winners to be announced at 8 pm at the Dance!!!!!!!!
Check out the entries to our Art Competition at the Bowls Club and enjoy a dawg and fries at Clancy’s Diner (formerly known as the Bowls Club) while you are there!
KIDS ACTIVITIES
The little ones can enjoy some time in the jumping Castle and at the Petting zoo.
Activities are a Gold Coin Donation entry.
All money raised goes back into the community!!!! Woombye Community and Business Association has numerous projects for the township of Woombye.

MARKETS STALLS
Step into a creative shopping experience at the Happy Days Festival in Woombye, where our Markets offer a journey through curiosities and capers. Discover timeless treasures, classic finds and fashion staples, creating a delightful exploration of our region and our Sunny Coast community.
Please note: There is no stall fee, in lieu we kindly ask for a donation to our community group and request you advertise our event on your socials!
BEER GARDEN AND FOOD TRUCKS
Have a drink and watch the heyday shows of the era. I Love Lucy and Happy Days on rerun in the beer garden makes everything taste nostalgic! You will leave Feelin’ Groovy! Mr Whippy, Frozen Ice, Fairy Floss, Pizza, CWA Milkshake Cafe and Clancy’s Diner all offering nom noms!
